Bad Breath

I brush every day but my breath still isn’t fresh is there anything I can do?

Yes, you can. Bad breath is usually caused by septic gases that come from the base of your tongue. Some also come from gum disease and decayed teeth. We recommend a tongue scraper and a special mount rinse containing chlorine dioxide (Oxyfresh). We also have the only machine in the Bahamas to measure the amount of volatile Sulphur compounds that come from your mouth, usually the back of the tongue.

Anxious Patient

I don’t like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?

We understand. Most Patients are a bit intimidated visiting the dentist.  At CSD it is our goal to make patients feel as comfortable as possible. We’ve created a spa-like environment for our patients which utilizes soothing music, aroma therapy and staff members that are available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.  Along with this, sedation services are also available for patients that may need a little help to relax.
